Welcome to Death by My Design (“I,” “me,” “my,” or “the Artist”). These Terms of Service apply to your use of my online shop and website and to purchases made through the shop.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About My Shop
Death by My Design is an independent art shop operated by Kat, a self-taught ink and mixed-media artist.
I sell original artwork, prints, stickers, keychains, and other art-related products through my online shop.
Some products are made, packaged, and shipped directly by me from my studio.
2. Products & Artwork
I make every effort to accurately photograph and describe my products, including their dimensions, materials, and appearance.
Because screens and displays can vary, colors may appear slightly different on your device than they do in person.
Original artwork is handmade and may contain natural variations, textures, marks, or other characteristics resulting from the materials and artistic process. These characteristics are part of the nature of an original artwork.
3. Orders
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase, including the product, size, quantity, shipping address, and other order information.
Once an order has been placed, I may not be able to make changes to it if it has already been processed or prepared for shipment.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including in cases of obvious pricing or listing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or circumstances beyond my reasonable control.
4. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
All sales are final.
Because my products are independently produced and fulfilled, I do not generally accept returns or exchanges.
I do not generally provide refunds for:
Change of mind
Incorrect product selection
Incorrect size or format selected by the customer
Items that are no longer wanted
Minor variations in color or appearance
Normal characteristics of handmade or original artwork

Please include your order number and clear photographs showing the issue.
I will review requests on a case-by-case basis. A replacement, refund, or other resolution may be offered where appropriate, but a resolution is not guaranteed.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Shipping
Orders that I personally fulfill are packaged and shipped directly from my studio.
I take reasonable care when packaging your order before it leaves my possession.
Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, shipping delays, loss, or damage occurring during transit are outside of my direct control.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me at deathbymydesign@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Please provide:
Your order number
Photographs of the damaged product
Photographs of the packaging
A photograph of the shipping label
I will review the situation individually and determine whether a resolution is appropriate.
6. International Orders
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.
I am not responsible for delays caused by customs or other international shipping processes.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible at:
I will do my best to accommodate cancellation requests that are received before an order has been processed or shipped.
Once an order has been prepared for shipment or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.
8. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All artwork, illustrations, photographs, designs, logos, graphics, text, and other creative content displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Death by My Design / Kat, unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing an artwork or product does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
You may not copy, reproduce, scan, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit my artwork without my written permission.
This includes reproducing artwork for prints, merchandise, digital products, commercial projects, or other purposes.
You may photograph your purchased artwork for personal use.
9. Use of the Website
You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with its operation.
You may not use my artwork, name, branding, or identity to impersonate Death by My Design or falsely suggest an affiliation with me.
10. Product Availability & Pricing
I reserve the right to change product prices, descriptions, designs, and availability at any time.
Original artworks may be one-of-a-kind and are available only while they remain in stock.
I reserve the right to correct obvious errors in product listings or pricing.
11. Third-Party Services
This shop is hosted and operated using services provided by Fourthwall. Your purchase and use of the website may also be subject to applicable Fourthwall terms and policies.
12. Privacy
Information collected through this website is handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy.
Information may be used as necessary to process orders, payments, shipping, customer-service requests, and other functions associated with operating the shop.
13. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time as my shop, products, or policies change.
The current version will always be posted on this page.
